Very characterful portrait, and an interesting take on the theme that never even occurred to me.

Because it does funny things to your eyes... The irregularity of the lower join is what really makes it IMO, breaking the pattern and adding interest.

I love this one, fantastic composition - the juxtaposition of the railway lines, road markings and bridge rails really draws the eye into the image.
