Agreed (and nice shots, btw) - but does everyone find that using either this or DxO PureRaw takes for EVER?

Denoise in Lightroom takes about 3 to 5 seconds on mine, but it's a new fast, fast, fast thing. Uploading it to the net is where it all goes pear shaped for me as I have two paper cups and a piece of string.

Denoise takes a couple of minutes for me and crashes reasonably often, so I only take the time to use it for images I think will really benefit. My PC was fairly fast in its day but is pretty old now - 4th gen i7 (4790 IIRC), 32GB RAM, GTX1050ti.

Been re-processing a few old noisy photos from 5+ years ago, enjoying how much better results I can get now with LR denoise (and a bit more practice) than I could back then.

Lightroom Denoise IS slow. And I don't like some of the artifacts it leaves, esp. on straight edges.

DxO used to be slow until I upgraded both RAM (16Gb to 32Gb) and GPU (GTX-1060 to a GTX-3060) - now it's not really a bother. And is close to witchcraft!
