I've been quite impressed with the new denoise function in Lightroom
+1 : It's really good.
Agreed (and nice shots, btw) - but does everyone find that using either this or DxO PureRaw takes for EVER?
Denoise in Lightroom takes about 3 to 5 seconds on mine, but it's a new fast, fast, fast thing. Uploading it to the net is where it all goes pear shaped for me as I have two paper cups and a piece of string.
Denoise takes a couple of minutes for me and crashes reasonably often, so I only take the time to use it for images I think will really benefit. My PC was fairly fast in its day but is pretty old now - 4th gen i7 (4790 IIRC), 32GB RAM, GTX1050ti.

Been re-processing a few old noisy photos from 5+ years ago, enjoying how much better results I can get now with LR denoise (and a bit more practice) than I could back then.

That was ISO 12800 on the (crop sensor) D7200, in low light under a tree.

Lightroom Denoise IS slow. And I don't like some of the artifacts it leaves, esp. on straight edges.

DxO used to be slow until I upgraded both RAM (16Gb to 32Gb) and GPU (GTX-1060 to a GTX-3060) - now it's not really a bother. And is close to witchcraft! biggrin

Thos is where me and my mates used to go sledging on school dinner trays at lunch time, by bunking over the fence and running off into the woods.
There didn't even need to be snow. 42 years ago.

Well I was going to post an image but it appears the [pic] format tool doesn't work, and I don't use Flickr or anything like it. Bummer.

I took a trip to the Saatchi Gallery to see the Edward Burtynsky exhibition yesterday. Definitely worth seeing.

And another, gradually pottering through processing as I have time. Panorama from 6 portrait-format shots @ 23mm, the panorama stitching isn't 100% but I haven't been able to get it any better.
