Well done!

And thank you, first time I've hit the podium.

Well done chaps!

Now I have a confession...
My entry was not a photograph. It was an AI generated image. I wanted to see if anyone would spot the difference, or if it would even get a podium place.
If it had, I was planning to fess up immediately and pass the trophy to a deserving entrant. I tipped off a couple of the other entrants by PM so that it was clear I wasn't planning on staying schtum and cheating.

I used this AI:
https://creator.nightcafe.studio/
And asked it to generate the following image: "A photograph of a misty oak wood taken at daybreak in the style of Ansell Adams"

The image posted was it's first attempt, I did not generate several and pick the best.

Scary isn't it?

Seems a bit more obvious now that you’ve pointed it out but it is quite scary/ impressive how good AI is becoming.

I’ve been having a play on ChatGPT. Get it to write a valentine’s day poem for your mrs laugh.

Thanks Voldemort, there was some particularly stiff competition this month. Confession, the original image was captured by Mrs Singlecoil with her 6 year old compact camera, but I had to do a lot of Photoshop to remove the distractions and tidy it up smile
Well done - yours was my personal choise for winner clap

I had a look after you tipped me off and to be honest it's a bit st when you look closely - some very odd shadows and it looks generally weird to me... I won't be giving up the camera just yet and letting Skynet take over hehe

Thank you - also very excited by my podium place. That has incentivised me a bit!
