December 2023 Photography Competition - Spirit of Adventure

Ok folks, the last one for 2023, 'Spirit of Adventure'. Interpret as you see fit.
Rules as usual:
The photos taken must be your own work
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month (although in this case there was no previous winner)
Entries and discussion on a single thread, please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Winners should update the Competition Wiki (it's easy)
Photos entered can be as large as you like, although bear in mind if too large, it may not be possible to see the whole image on some screens. Links to larger versions are permissible

I'll kick it off. One day in late February a few years ago, the first day the Vallee Blanche in Chamonix was open for a week. This is somewhere after the Refuge du Requin, on the final couple of hours skiing down this tremendous glacier. The temperature was -14C, wind howling down the slope, and the sun was lowering in the sky. I snapped three frames as the two skiers above us set off, hunched over against the wind.
A little more adventure than this crew were probably expecting.
