As my winning picture from last month was taken in my local park, I thought that "home town" would be a good theme. Hopefully it means that it is easier to get out to take a new shot for the challenge, but as always feel free to raid your archives.

The usual rules apply:

  1. The photos taken must be your own work
  2. The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
  3. The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
  4. Entries and discussion on a single thread, please.
  5. All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
  6. Winners should update the Competition Wiki (it's easy)
  7. Photos entered can be as large as you like, although bear in mind if too large, it may not be possible to see the whole image on some screens. Links to larger versions are permissible.

Good orn ya boi! I was born and grew up there till 1958 then moved to Roman Camp, Aylmerton. Got back last summer for history society meet and was able to visit the house where I lived, then called Doescroft, Beach Road. Now has a different name.

Back on track with a photo - grotty weather and a drone that didn’t shoot in raw is my excuse for the lack of clarity….
