Mr Beckernam - nice shot in the official entry I've been waiting for a day like that all month, but didn't happen where I was.

Why is it, when you're standing looking at a really nice piece of architecture and think "I must have a photo of that!", is the sky always really washed out and pathetic?

Ah well. I can't find any other contrasty shots in my collection, so this might have to do.

Cheers. Wasn't sure to go for that one or this one;

but I think the one I entered is more 'contrasty'. Still feel a bit of a cheap skate for not getting out there and taking a shot with a slightly more diverse subject matter rather than going for an obvious one.

Welcome. Just chuck in a rotter from time to time, or you'll frighten all the beginners away

Top it is then.

I like the sky more in the bottom pic I think but my "knowledge:laziness" ratio (as far as Photoshop goes) is too low to do anything about it before the competition ends.

Cheers peeps
