I've got two. The first one is meant to be contrasting architecture, old and new. The second is similar, but is contrasting simple and complicated, or in a way, present and future.

No, it's a red painted dead tree in the middle of a field between the A217 and the M25 near Banstead in Surrey

There's one painted white on the A120 between Colchester and Harwich... again for reasons unknown.
I took this picture of one of our cats this weekend, and only afterwards thought that I could enter it in this competition - I really like the contrast between the darkness of her fur and the brightness of the sunlight. It wasn't that striking for real - really surprised me when I saw it on the screen.
