I'm off to Galapagos between 5th and 20th of April. Has Mrs Ted been there?
It's only fair I took her someplace warm after taking her to Greenland last time smile

Ted could come on a VERY sparkly special trip with me and my girlfriend up the west coast of America at the end of May?

I’m happy to let her go with you instead of me, I think I’d pick the Galapagos over Lanzarote hehe

Very true and I am sure I could do it, BUT you have to get past the wife and stay quiet for 2 weeks and eat nothing or she will chuck you off a mountain with me.

Personally I would like to stay alive and not have my gonads eaten by bears or fire ants.

I hope you understand my friend, it would have been fun but I like my gonads more than you.

hehe Well I can put your mind at rest on one thing. There are no bears in Canada. I even went on a special bear trip to find some and there were none. Didn't see any fire ants either, but you might get savaged by a roadside elk. If you meet any elk I suggest you step back and let the wife deal with them wink

We have meet or chanced upon many a bear in Canada so must be your aftershave

2014 Highway 1a Bow Valley -

2014 Highway 93 to Jasper - a Wolf or some but a picture of one will do. -

2011 Just off Highway 1 AB to BC -

2013 - Somewhere near clearwater, BC -

2017 - Took this picture and around the corner was a bear walking towards us, not sure who was most scared it or us, bear spray to the ready and reverse our ass.

Never did see any fire ants but would not put it past caroline if I opened the RV door and a big fella with a bear costume was already there.

For the record tour companies are just that, get out on your own in a car and you will find bears etc.

Elk steak is the best steak I have ever had.

After all that, meet us on the 29th October in Gatwick North, wearing your bear costume. Have a note with Allanv and HKP on it with Destination Toronto.

We are going to land in Calgary so follow the advice below.

Any issues or if you cannot find us call RSPCA for further instructions on abandoned animals. Good luck if you agree to take on this mission.
Chocolates are provided in times of need, unfortunately I have taken them with me and eaten them along with the wine. I have replaced with a 2 groat voucher for food.

OK so there is one bear in Canada. But Canada is a big place.

You didn't say it was October, brr! I shall take my bear outfit elsewhere!

Eh?

I thought your “work” consisted of feeding the pine marten, blasting round the local roads to scare away any grockles and popping down the pub to sell a bag of postcards.....?

I appreciate Ted might have a better offer in May already, but I'm going to Japan and Russia (Moscow and Vladivostok - about as far apart as you can go and still be in the same country!) if Ted wants to come along I'd be more than happy to oblige.

Happy for you to sort that out with Matt-Evo. Ted hasn't been to Russia yet, so would be good.

Planet Claire, please DM your postal address to me as Ted will be ready to send 9th March.
