Steve - could you let us know when you update the photo on today.jpg, just for today, so we can see how long it takes to update and (indeed) if it does!

To move it... move your mouse to the top of the pic and a menubar appears... drag that. You need to set the schedule for it to change (from the pull down menu on the pic) it's in Properties.

Perfect, thanks. Yup it updates itself all lovely jubbly. Amazing the thigns that can be done relatively easily that you never knew about !

(I say "easily"....it involves some bloke I've never met going to the trouble of clambering around the highlands in (somtimes) horrid weather to stand at the side of a windy loch while carting £ 000's worth of camera gear up and down hills to take a picture so that I get a lovely scenic view on my computer with my Daily Express and cup of tea every morning. God bless him )

Whenever I take the pic. Usually a.m. If you set your schedule to refresh at about 15.00 that will work 90% of the time.

Mines set as a 3/4 size pic central on both screens, no amount of double clicking, right clicking, hovering over corners or throwing phones at it makes do anything rolleyes

First question Del, do you have the "lock desktop item" ticked in the menu here...

If it's ticked, then UNtick it. Then if you hover over the picture, go to the top left of it a menu selectable clicker thing will appear like this.... you can then choose "cover desktop" and that will full-screen it for you.

Quality issues aside, that's why I'm not going to do the same - I can take days to get around to processing off the card Particularly midweek when I'm down south.

Talking of which, I presume you're not planning on any holidays this year, Steve?

I have an extended holiday planned, but it's Barra, South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist, Harris, Lewis, Skye - so photos will be posted on my return..

...BUT

I have 7 days in a dark recording studio in London sometime around Easter, so after some thought, Mrs Get is going to take the highland pics, and I'm going to take the London pics, and when I get back, both will be posted.
