here's one of my humble offerings ... looks particularly good on a 1m square canvas

If that's the blue image of Gabby, then yes, it looks fantastic in real life. Hopefully you can fix the link as it's not showing.

How bizarre that it shows perfectly on my browser here confused

Pods - can i wang the image over to you and see if you can post it - strangely enough, it has appeared as black on photobucket both times that I have tried to load it!

Nope! cannot even drag it into an email ... no idea what's up with that

That is so retro - I love it! There some excellent shots on this months thread -I also like Focused's Art Brushes - really erm 'arty'!! (Where's the Blonde smiley when you need one??!) and Mrs Fish's and..... oh, they're all good!!

Dogsey, you're going to have a hard decision to make this month!

Martin, where's the Noble pic?

No - it appears in photobucket as like a posterised black image, yet i can open it on my computer ... and my browser shows it on here (this thread) as it's normal blue colour. Very bizarre!

Al, best way round this is to display it on your screen and take a screenshot (alt+print scrn), then open photoshop and paste it into a new file. (ctrl+v)

Hope this helps.

Well (I'll stop jester for a mo) that certainly is bizarraroony! I take it you've uploaded a JPEG file? This may also be a daft question, but was it in an RGB colour space? The 'bucket always copes with re-sizing whatever you seem to throw at it. scratchchin

Hat's off to you if you've broken Photobucket!!! silly - back on again....

Just put it on afterwards in photoshop. gradient filter, create a new layer and select the gradient tool. you can have what ever colour sky you want then.

Well farting around in Coventry today i went to the motor museum, and got a couple of Arty shots which i'm very happy with.

Firsty: Thrust 2!

Secondly: The Jet engine that powered thrust SSC to world land speed record victory.

Thirdly: I forgot what car it is Think it was a triumph though.

Fourthly: I got a nice shot of the old bikes!

And last but not least: Outside of the motor museum, the big arches, that look absolutely stunning!

Comments welcome!!

The Gimp will do it as well, and it is legally free to download from the official site www.gimp.org
