APRIL 2007 - Photo Competition thread

Not going to win any artistic prizes, but thought you might appreciate the technical side: Couldn't get far enough back too get it in one shot, so this is several with the camera moved along the building between each one. 8 shots in all, and it only works if you've got very constant light.

Popped out to the coast yesterday morning and managed to get these. First real attempt at doing panoramas on anything other than mountain tops. Can't really decide which work best though?
Aldeburgh at Sunrise
Beach Huts at Southwold
The following was taken in portrait rather than landscape and stitched, not sure if I like the effect though

Washington Square in New York, 360 degree panorama.
Not perfectly stitched so a few blurry areas, but haven't had the time to do it right.

For the life of me I can't work out how you did that, but it's brill.
Any tips?
Thanks. It's astonishingly easy to do:

No, quite right, not in the same league, but a great captured moment, very evocative and you can feel a great atmosphere, cool pic methinks.
Cheers, this was fairly early on at my best friends stag do ... needless to say the pics from later in the day were far from pretty! lol
