brilliant, nice to know you have been there! What area do you live in?
I'm from Dorset, but a great friend grew up in a house called "Lundy View" without ever going there. A load of us went for new year about ten years ago, and it became a bit of an annual fixture. Only ever had the pleasure of the boat once, helicopter all the other times.

Ooo fantastic! Would have loved to go in a heli-copter. I'll tell you what though the bar in the boat is fantastic, really comfortable seats and a nice drink of magners, Aaaaahhhh :P
Hi all,
This is my first post on this forum so please be gentle with me.
A view across Lake Matheson in New Zealand. From this view point you should be be able to see Mount Cook and Mount Tasman, but both were hidden in the cloud.
Cheers,
Martin

OK, I'm trying to decide between two for my entry:
or
Which do you prefer? I'll see if anyone has a good reason why I should enter one instead of the other, otherwise I guess I'll choose whichever one I happen to prefer at whatever time I post an entry.
ETA: actually seeing them together I'm noticing a lot of similarities between the two in composition, funny seeing as they're completely different places and the photos were taken probably the better part of a year apart (though both stitched this month). Hmmm, have to think about that and look at some other shots.

Me like alot...
Thanks - I'm glad you like it. I've never really asked for an opinion on any of my pictures before.
Here are a couple more pics from my trip to New Zealand that fit the Panoramic theme - any comments?
View of Lake Wanaka from Rocky Mountain
And looking in the other direction...

Wanaka is stunning, Climbed up to ST Aspinal glacier a few weeks ago, prolly go see warbirds over Wanaka next year too.
IMO the most scenic spot in NZ. TrebleCone isnt to bad a spot for a bit of skiing/snowboarding either..

I'm really jealous of you living in NZ. It's one of the very few places I could be seriously tempted to move to.
