Yep, born and bred!

Both those shots are from Montpellier Gardens last week, on the way home from work. Been meaning to get aome shots since they re-did it with lights. Was shooting at 3200 ISO, so need to drag the tripod into work at some point and have another go.

I've done the usual and looked out a photo that seemed fitting for the subject. One of these days i will go out and take a picture specifically for the competition...

Ooh brilliant. I might have a bash at this for the first time. I took a load of shots the other day of some very 'ordinary' buildings...

I'll post a few up in a sec and see what you think.

And this is just the 'chat' thread. Guys you're scaring away all the competition virgins! biggrin

Thought I might have a go this month, but I'm having second thoughts now. Some of the pics here are awesome. Think I need to practice a bit more.

Thanks Emma! I was pleased when I got that one taken, its a seedy grotty drug pick up point that was empty thanks to pea soup fog that night.

Another I might use is this ordinary bar of soap

Thanks Stigmund. It's a self-portrait taken in natural light (I just stood by my back door) with my new pocket comact, a Ricoh Capilo R7. Full details here:

These lot are a very ordinary, bland bricks and mortar building I shot last week - any comments?
