I'm back

We drove 1900 miles in all, truly an epic week. When I get over the jet lag I'll go through some more photos.

My brother and I did the Power Tour too.. great fun.

I did it in 2006 with Jeff Schwartz in his Ultima. I rang him in April this year and we hatched a plan to build a 65 Tempest he had spare in his shop.

My brother and I arrived the week before and helped finish the car off... we were doing 12-14 hour days for a week to finish it.

Full chassis, Baer brakes, coil over shocks, LS3, Tremec 5sp.

I drove Jeff's 1000hp Twin Turbo Ultima from Racine to South Bend....what and INSANE machine. I have a 580hp supercharged LS2 Ultima which is fast, but 1000hp twin turbo is in a league of its own. Im now hooked on twin turbos... the Tempest is getting them for next year's Power Tour.
