Ok it's not true macro but you can get a decent close-up with an RX10iv

Dead chuffed with this as have wanted one for a long time and you don't get them up north (so far as I know anyway - got this in Bamburgh)

Still messing about trying to shoot macro with the RX10iv - stuck the Raynox on and zoomed it all the way to 600mm equiv when I spotted this tiny bug (roughly 3mm long!) and was pretty impressed with the result, there was tons of magnification anyway

I have a 72mm Canon 500D (which I am selling!) and also a Marumi DHG +5 (which I am keeping).
Both work well - the Marumi has slightly more magnification but essentially they are very similar. I have not tried video with either but I don’t see why not
Back to the big camera for this one - in shock news it's better
