June 09 Photo Competition - Entries Thread

Hello, 8 minutes past 12, apologies for the delay

There were some really nice entries this month. I'll run down my top 3.

3rd place: slartibartfast - good composition, but it does make me feel dizzy.

2nd place: mmertens - very nice shot, and superb reflections. This was obviously not taken in Scotland

and 1st place goes to cirks. I spent the most time looking at your shot. Each pane of glass seems like a little shot on it's own. Nice work

Thanks 4hero, my 2nd 2nd place.... So much honour, but must obviously try harder! I had picked Cirks' entry as well as my favorite from the other entries, so no disagreement there! On the other hand, not very many entries this month... holidays? or difficult subject?

Wow......That's unexpected. Ever since taking the shot I've liked it for pretty much the same reason as you gave for it winning but it just goes to show that sometimes the 'simple' shot just works

Well done to the others too.

I'll come up with a theme and try to get it posted tonight.

I've started to update the Wiki entry with trying to list all the previous competitions. I know another list existed somewhere but if anyone can fill in the blanks, that would be appreciated.

WOO, my 2nd 3rd.

Must try harder, i HAVE to win this one day as i've got a theme that everyone should be able to hit.
