I instinctively panned with him as he started running, comes from shooting cars most of the time
Aha, I can see it now - nice shot and very nice cat - Bengals are cool. Trouble is when I was looking for Rumpuss the cat rescue place didn't have any posh breeds - just boot-faced cats with ears like old bus tickets!
Yeah, but the 57 cats are always the best to own. He's pretty hard work, extremely vocal and strong willed. Very affectionate too though. I was seduced by his stylish good looks when he was a kitten, how could you say no to this?
That chair!!! I know many people with cats who have staked a claim on that very same Ikea model! Funny world innit!

Well, when I moved into my house, I had no furniture. Since I don't use chairs, I wasn't going to buy any. Unfortunately my friends seemed to think it would be impolite to make them sit on the floor , so I got the cheapest thing I could from Ikea. However, you're right, they quickly became the cat's property, and now no-one uses them because they're always covered in fur

IN this new Sony Camera review ...
www.dcresource.com/reviews/sony/dsc_f828-review/index.shtml
the reviewer show's off how the camera can focus & frame with zero light.. and then flash for the photo. Result: 1 REALLY p*ssed off looking cat. Top photo

Tried taking some photos of my cat(s) on my current digital camera, still getting scary eyes.
Reckon that's the flash bouncing straight in and out of the poor moggy's eyeballs (they have a reflective layer behind the retine). Possible answers are: using available light instead of flash, shooting the mog from an angle, or using a seperate flash...

Heehehe, thats the norm for cat photography
When you get the 300D it should come with adobe elements 2.0, editing the eyes is far safer than multiple flash events in the moggies eyes I always find

It's the same reason their eyes light up in car headlights. Don't worry chim_girl, you'll be able to shoot without flash in pretty low light with your 300D And if not, you can get a nice tilt head flash for only £250

Marshy, was it in my imagination, didn't you post one of your cats face earlier? It has vanished, I thought it was a good photo, I can never get my cats eyes to look anything other than scary!
