Too true amigo. Cats are a pain in the ass. I tried to take a picture of my mates cat: It was perfectly still and i got my macro right up close... pressed the shutter... but forgot i had the flash on.

Now every time it sees my camera it leggs it in the oppoite direction.

I don't use macro for my shots, I have to leg it across the garden and zoom in to get the blurred background effect as I have no way of adjusting the DOF.

I get across the other side of the garden, focus the camera and he's on the move again

Several time I caught my old cat balancing precariously on the top of an open upstairs window...

The other trick was to leap from the banisters to the top of the airing cupboard door. Unfortunately the impact of the cat landing on top of the door caused the door to swing closed, knocking the cat off against the wall above... cat clearly never studied Newtonian physics....

My mums cat is crazy. It tried to jump on the piano stool when it was under the keyboard and twatted its head. I thought it was hilarious.

I'm not big on cats (it's a dog thing)... but here's one I took for all you feline fanciers.

Great pic Steve, some of your shots never cease to amaze me.
