ol, are the non Golfs in your 'immediate family'?
Then the 911 would be my choice, excellent shot but the R32 would also be a good subject.

YB
Yep I agree and thanks. The R32 is stuck under 3 foot of snow at the moment, so I'll enter the Porsche pic.

Some great images in the competition so far!

Really this like one too Paul, however I feel that theres abit of detail lacking in the car though, maybe the black needs to be abit lighter. But then it may also be my eyes squinting at the tiny picture! get it up on your photobox so i can buy one!!! plus i have my eye on one of your landscapes too....thinking of postage here that all hehehe :O)
Thanks Matt, I used the Sigma 10-20mm for this (as its never off the camera) and it ended up with loads of distortion. Corrected that in PS but it has shrunk the pic (now a square) and has lost some of the detail.

Let me know (through Flickr email) what landscape you like and I’ll email it over FOC mate smile Thanks for the kind comments.

I also spend much of the time with my Sigma 10-20 up front, it gives some great effects!

Matt, I replied at 10.19 this morning. Your email went into my junk mail box. I’ll send another via Flicker mail.

Thoughts on these....

HDR is designed to capture the dynamic range of the human eye, not create a photo that looks fake.

Seriously, this photo looks awful. The engine one however is bloody good.
2nd'ed

The HDR is way out of whack, halo'ing, odd looking colours, it just doesn't work.

The engine one is way better and a very good photo indeed

Car is good, lighting is good, angles are good, location is awful! smile The location is the easy bit to fix smile
