Professional Wedding Photographer Discussion
Discussion
Hello. I'd be interested to chat and exchange notes with professional wedding photographers across the UK regarding enquiries, marketing, rates, bookings, etc. If anyone might be interested in talking for mutually beneficial insight, I would be interested to hear from them. Please do PM or email me (cliff at whitenuptials.co.uk).
In addition, if anyone would also be interested in offering critique, advice or ideas on how to market wedding photography above and beyond the standard marketing methods I'd be keen to hear your thoughts.
Many thanks, Cliff.

Here's a hint.
When discussing prices at a wedding fair, don't lean across and say to the fiance of the bloke paying the bill that "you're not sure that he's taking this seriously" and that "does she think that he wants the best for you if he's haggling about the price of everything".
You'll get smacked in the face.
On a brighter note, I need a photographer in May next year. Will PM you.

Sorry, don't know anything about photography, or weddings, but:
"As a wedding photographer based in Chichester, West Sussex and covering Hampshire and the south coast, we will be delighted to meet with you."
A is singular. We is plural. In this sentence they refer to the same entity. You can't be singular and plural at the same time you know. Or are you a royal wedding photographer?

Nice site Cliff.........
Thank you. It's a self build. Does alright with the search engines, but I'm aware that if I presented my images in a larger better format it might add to a greater wow factor, but this site was the limit of my html and css skills last year. Might have to get some help improving it next year. I'm up for joining discussions on weddings.
Whilst on the subject of websites, my old site wasn't doing well on search engines, and the new one has recently been launched. Would welcome opinions on it: www.daviddarephotography.co.uk. It's doing much better on search engines, but still improvements to be made.

We can well recommend Gary Roebuck. www.garyroebuck.co.uk.Great fun, superb shots. Book early with him though as he has a growing reputation.
I've been asked to do the photographs at a friend's son's wedding next month(as a favour) . Given March in the uK could be a bit gloomy would it worth setting up 3 or 4 stobes on stands (radio triggered) for the outside group shots.
