One of our neighbours runs wildlife charters and fishing trips along the north coast of Scotland, I managed to hitch a ride out with him on Tuesday. It turns out we have a large Puffin colony along with many other species of birds very close to us.

Sorry, no idea what sort of brown bird it is but it is certainly a nicely captured specimen.

Did it warble at all?

Thanks LQ - I thought it might be a warbler of some sort but reached no firm conclusion after a fairly brief investigation smile
