In Photography Monthly this month is the shocking yet fasinating portfolio of a war photographer.
I believe good war photography should bring up a number of alternative and deep thoughts of war that you wouldnt normal associate with the troubles unless you were there.
Just seen a good example in the news today. (different photgrapher though probably).
Its more a case of the subject than the quality of the photo.
BTW: Pic shows the aftermath of the recent bomb blast in Baghdad.
