I have Photoshop 6.01 and have recently tested a trial version of Photoshop CS.
Although Adobe havent responded to my query does anyone know what the minimum version of Photoshop is to get away with just purchasing the Upgrade to CS rather than the full version
Cheers

I can't find anything specific, but...

The side of the Photoshop CS Upgrade box that turned up for me this morning says:

Adobe said:
This upgrade version of Adobe Photoshop CS and Adobe ImageReady CS is intended for licensed users of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or earlier.
(my emphasis)

I reckon 6.x will be fine. I also seem to remember seeing something during the installation along the lines of "if you're upgrading from version 5 or before, contact customer services".

Darran.

PS. If you find it cheaper than £140, don't tell me.

Just in case you didn't know, you also need Win 2000 service pack 3 or higher(if I remember correctly), or Win XP to run it.

It is also designed to work with Intel's HT technology processors as well. If you use it on a box with an HT processor you get much improved manipulation times/abilities. Same with the new version of Premier...
