Classic cars & classic girls
Discussion
Hi, Iam in the process of preparing to move in to a new flat and would like to decorate it with classic car pictures, pictures from Mille Miglia, Monaco, Le Mans, you name it if it has a picturesque setting and a classic car or something interesting bang it on here for me to steal and frame also if you have a picture of a classic with a rather classic girl draped over it that will do nicely
Below is what Iam looking for if possible, i have stole these from other threads so i apologise and thank the original posters!
Also if you have the manufacturer of the car and name please state it.....and the same for the girl!
Oh and photos of TVR grantura will be highly appreciated!

Just a thought. If this gets moved into "Photography & Video", be prepared for some "comments" from the snappers about usage.Good luck with the move though mate.

I took them from other topics, so I presume you want the links to those topics?

If that ^^^ takes you to the topic and not the page, then its page 31 of this topic.

That is awesome! Any of PH's resident snappers care to venture how he got that effect?
I guess he's used a slow shutter speed, which exposes and image for longer, allowing it to blur but to keep the car in focus all you have to do is follow it with the camera while taking the shot It's easier if you have an SLR, but you can try it if you have a compact put it into night mode (without flash) where it usually uses longer shutter speeds
I suspect there's also a bit of photoshop work in the background to tidy it up (if it was digital?)

Not in 1985! I seem to remember reading that the photographer waited until the car was next to him and then took a long exposure whilst zooming to keep the car in focus. It took loads of attemptss to get it spot on, and even then the flames were a lucky accident.
Fantastic photo though!
