Traffic is pretty bad over here at the moment! If anyone is driving towards Diksmuide on the E40, expect delays around the France/Belgium border of 1-3 hours due to roadworks. If I had known, or read, I would have tried an alternative route.

Also, the weather is not too bad over here. Nice day out this morning. Sunny. Wet and cold yesterday, though.

The people here think it will be just damp and cool rather than snow! However, you never know.

Well, I was at Laon Thursday-Sunday and Ypres Monday-Tuesday.

It started raining Friday night and didn't feel like it stopped till we got near Calais on Tuesday. That must have used up most if the rain so it can't be too bad surely.

Whatever it does, the company will be good and it will be an excellent trip smile

Fantastic time! ok, im back in Uk and Chim still sitting in a garage somewhere in deepest darkest Belgium, but what a fantastic weekend!
And who needs F1 when you can watch the soap Karts, without the greif of ear plugs!!!! wink

Now, time to throw some F**ks into RAC and get my P & J back!

Thanks again Ian, was a pleasure meeting you for the first time, and an Epic weekend!

Absolutely agree - great weekend!

Driving Spa in the wet, in a TVR, was an experience!!

First thing I did when I got home....Playstation, GT5, Spa....re-lived it! :-)

Thanks Ian for organising, see you all soon!

Bad luck what went wrong with your car ? I got a hot and noisy CV joint on the return but pushed on and got home. Needs to be replaced now. What happened to your car ?

Been there - mine was left in deepest Germany though and it took a fortnight to get it home, wondering what state it would be in. Apart from being filty having been outside for 2 weeks there was no damage or bits missing.

Hello all, this was again a great week-end in spa with great racing cars (bizzarini's / Lola T70's /Mercedes C11 etc)and of course TVR's and a lot of them, nevers seen so much.
The paddocks where invaded with british cars from all makes wink wink wink
Saddly, I could just have a few words with Ian and Han, I try to do better next year.
Hello also to the cerbera owner from Yorkshire an the T350 owner I spoke to on saturday morning.
Ian, a big thank you for these fantastic moments.
Christian & Lina

I'll do my best Martin. I'll also ask the Spa organisers to hold next year's event at the end of May rather than early January...

Hi Christian, it was good to see you.
Sorry about not having more time to talk on Sunday morning - you caught me at a busy time just before the lap session when I was trying to fit the final couple of cars into our parking area!
See you next year yes

Can't believe this - my euro breakdown cover was excellent (add on to heritage insurance classic insurance policy)

Recovered from roadside {eventually but proximity to national border didn't help :-/ }
Car taken to secure compound.
Tried to fix but scuppered by parts availability.
Put me and gf up in a nice hotel x3 nights.
Hire car provided in Germany
Taxi to airport.
Flights back to Blighty.
Hire in uk.
Car returned to local garage.

All paid for at the time by insurance company, no laying out cash on my part to claim back later.

Best £35 premium ever paid for full years cover.
