...but will you need them with your full soft top ? .....
Absolutely! There won't be any stays pushing it forward so I'll be relying on the catches to stop it being ripped off if I open the window. I started making a header rail out of plywood today. Taking shape and if it looks OK I'll post up a photo. Looking for ideas now on how to make the roof material seal around the windows.phillpot said:
Main clips were available from RS online, but looks like the stainless ones are now obsolete, search part no. 3402285, the plastic ones are still listed 2455547
The alternative offered for the stainless ones doesn't look right to me?
I think these part numbers will only get you the main clips, the little bit they hook onto and the packing wedge you can see in the photo between the clip and roof panel
When I ordered mine they came with all the bits but fit the originals so you don't need the packing wedge or bit they hook onto. The also are a direct replacement into the original screw holes-noting my clip broke due to poor roof assembly in a rush due due huge precipitation at the time!!The alternative offered for the stainless ones doesn't look right to me?

Which ones did you order? The pair of (now obsolete) stainless ones I bought did not come with the bit to hook onto.
