Just thought I'd let all you all know that I'm now off to Donington to be driven around the circuit in a 4.2 Cerberra !!!

If I'm lucky I may even get to have a go !

Enjoy the rest of your working days

Cheers

Mark

It was fun !

Not my car so I was restrained and I had his son in the car with me aswell !!! Gary took me for a few laps before I took it out and that was a lot of fun when you're with someone who really knows their car (and has been unable to drive it for 5 months ! Yes he was letting it all out)

So much usable power and not the complete handful I thought it would be at all. Went past quite a few other cars .....

The acceleration...oh the acceleration

Absolutely not. It was very fast, great fun through the bends, and just had so much more to give .... but ....... I want a Griff.

The roof doesn't come off, they cost a fortune to service, the roof doesn't come off...and I have always wanted a Griffith from the first moment I saw and heard one.

A friend has just sent me his video footage of Zolder and on the end he has tagged the Tuff Noodle Top Gear report on the release of the Griffith 500 in '93. I remember watching that the night it was on and thinking I will have one !!

I'll have a Cerberra one day though...but the roof doesn't come off

I'm the same - Amazing cars, but the roof...

Good luck in your quest for "THE" Griff.

Cheers,

Dave.
