TVR S Brake Servo - Saab OR Festa
Discussion
guys,
i am going the whole hog with rear brake discs up to 273 ventilated etc etc but at the same time I wouldn't mind having a servo handy if we need to swap out the existing one (if it turns out to be an issue)
So if anyone has one I could have, please PM me and we can sort a deal.
Ever optimistic !

Data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders out today shows that in total 4,132,294 Fiestas have been sold since the model first appeared in 1976.
That's a lot of TVR servos out there
Yeah but no but...... how many of the multitude of different Fiesta variations are the correct ones for our application? That's a lot of TVR servos out there
As far as I can ascertain, Austin's servo & m/cyl is from the Ford P100 Sierra Pick-up truck.
Another can o' worms.......
( Apologies for my absence, I 've had some stuff to deal with.
But now I'm back.... )
Edited because I forgot the "P".
Inexcusable at my age I know, but it happens to the best of us......

But how many of those are mk3 XR2i or RS1800i models with the optional ABS fitted? That's a lot of TVR servos out there
The long running saga of S servos!
TVR Parts keep me up to date and the latest is of interest to us. What slightly puzzles me is that this is a very early S servo indeed. It looks like the Tasmin fitment was carried over into the very first S series and this looks like the type fitted to Glenrobbo's 'Austin' (correct me if I am wrong Glen). The servo shown predates the SAAB set up on my 1988 car.
So if you bought this servo it isnt a replacement for the SAAB or the later Ford Fiesta (some models) type and cannot be expected to mate with those master cylinders.
