Seatbelt Improvement - Who Looks Back Anyway

Well I got the car back yesterday with the roll bar fitted and first impressions are very positive.
On the up side the upper seat belt anchorages are further forward which seems to have sorted the 'S sticky belt' problem. It looks great, suits the car (IMHO) and doesn't get in the way of the roof or my head. The rear view with the roof up is fine but with the roof down you do get a 'letter box' effect between the folded roof and the bar.
The roll bar also has fixing points for a harness which could be a plus. Some people told me I would notice more road noise and get a harsher ride due to the bar transmitting everything from the chassis but I haven't found this.
The chassis feels stiffer on corners (which is good) although I don't know how much of this is down to me expecting an improvment in rigidity and how much is down to the seat flexing less under my wieght
Apart from the slightly obstructed rear view the only negative seems to be a slight loss of seat adjustment and recline due to the roll bar upright, not a great deal though I can live with that.

It cost just over £300 plus fitting but I didn't fancy doing it myself. Tower View did a very neat job - I'll take some digital photos and post them here.
I had seen cheaper ones but I felt is was worth paying for a top quality bar just in case - my wife seemed very concerned that the kids could get injured (not me, I'm insured).
I like the look as well, some don't and I guess it comes down to personal choice at the end of the day but I think they're worth the investment.
