S2 curved dash warning light cover/panel

Saw an S2 at BHP with what looked like a black acrylic (curved) panel with the coloured lights mounted in it or through it. It had a high gloss finish and looked like quite thick material, unlike the flimsy original. It was very smart. Pity I didn't have the wits to leave a note asking about it. Does anyone know of this solution, who made it or where to get it?
Display thing was made of 4mm black perspex. Took ages.
Although it looks ok I'm not happy with it because you still can't see the indicator warning light when looking at the road and so causes a nuisance if they don't cancel after a turn.
I put a thread on at the time but can't find it, I'll have another look.
