Ok guys well it's been a while since my last post but work hasn't stopped I've been beavering away every chance I've had.
I'm going to try and put as many pics up as I can over the next few weeks your thoughts are welcome lol.

I've used rustoleam paint which is brilliant to use and gives great coverage. Also it has allowed me to paint it as and when I fix areas.

So rebuild time now the chassis is repaired so I started bolting things on as I bought them or rebuilt the parts.
First thing was to get it up on ot's wheels making it easy to move around.

So room is scarce here so the the body has to be back on to chassis before I paint the body so I decided to sort the bulk head out before it put the body back on the chassis.

The body itself is in pretty good nick to say how bad the chassis was although very little bolts came off in one piece lol.

This is the colour I'm going for its ford mondeo st state blue which is one of my old cars in this colour which I loved

Column bearing was well and truly knacked so got myself a nice new shiney one. I've been lucky in the fact the car was pretty standard and had only small bodges done to it in the past.

I understand what you say about people being able to do these things in there garage if you have the skill set you can do wonders. we also need to remember those people who do this and don't even have a garage lol.

I must admit I've enjoyed almost every min of this rebuild.

Not sure if I've posted these pics before but I'll stick it on my page anyway. Looking at the heater hole in the dash seems the fella that cut it out wasn't to fussed about the effect it would have on the windscreen. The people that drove my car before me must have hated the demister on it.

The masking tape is the area that should have been cut out lol.

This is what it looks like sat on the heater outlet for the windscreeen

Hi guys I'm really happy with the carpets to say I've never done this before I'm chuffed with the end result.
As you say I priced up a carpet set well over £400 but a roll of carpet 4mts x 4mtrs £40 no brainer.

As for the glue all I can say is it was just a off the shelf spray glue. I have none left so can't read the can but its held well.
I am finding some jobs I've finished I seem to go back and change all over again but i think thats the way it will go lol.

Did you see the bit about my screen heater hope yours aint like mine mate.
