So is this servo a ford or Saab replacement. More over, will it fit my S3c?
My S3C had the earlier SAAB one - you can tell as it is the one with the separate reservoir on the bulk head. If you have the other (ford) then it should be a direct replacement. If you have the SAAB (like me) then you need to replace the servo as well witht he Ford one...and re-drill the mounting holes for it in the bulkhead...there is a very detailed description on the interweb of how this was done by others which I used to help me.Here's the article autoandy was talking about

If you've paid for shipping it should be 24 hours (excluding weekends I'd guess).
Free shipping option 4-5 working days
Excellent. It's going in on Thursday to have some bits done and I'll report back if the servo fits an S3c. If not I'll have a Ford servo for sale on Thursday nightFree shipping option 4-5 working days

Cant be sure on the servo from those pictures but the cylinder doesnt appear to be SAAB, not only do they have a remote reservoir but the cylinder is steel not alloy. Unfortunately there are many hundreds of different cylinders in the reference manuals I have, recognising one without reference numbers is virtually impossible. Sometimes there is a plastic band round the cylinder which gives some info but not in this case. Sorry I cant be of more help.

I think that is just zinc plated steel, there's rust where the fittings go in?Don't recall my original Saab unit having that kind of step profile where it mates up to the bulkhead?
Whatever it was originally sourced from I guess if it can stop a Wedge It should be able to stop an S

MC is larger than bore than the wedge.......22mm ish vs the wedge 20.6mm
Interesting , the S uses a 22.2mm bore m/c.gmw9666 said:

Tempting (I do love hoarding a few spares) but it does look a bit of an oddball so I'll pass on this one, thanks anyway fozzy280472 said:
Mine arrived with no issues , definitely made by TRW and made in EU , looks like it was delivered from Coventry .
Has a useful list of ford models printed on the side of the box for alternative fitting applications.
Got to be worth the money .

It certainly looks the business and at £135 not to be sniffed at.
