Bumpy Bumpy.

Have been taking to the organiser and I may be coming along. Just need to sort out a couple of things. One being a possible trip to Oulton Park with a friend instead. The other being whether I have a qualifying car or not.

Going to see if a few of the Wedge boys want to come too.

Details in the link on page 1. This is not a TVR event but there are a lot of TVRs booked up. Pre-2000 cars are the basic requirement although the organiser does have some discretion. However, the purpose of the events, and one of the conditions of his 'contract' is that it isn't a 'regular' trackday.

There was a fairly new caterham there last time, they said it was in the spirit of the event and just asked the driver to tape his number plate up, so they are flexible maybe worth a call to find out if it's something a bit younger.

The organiser was happy for Tamy (Tamora) to attend on the same basis and asked for the number plates to be removed after entry to the site (Security require to identify cars). Unfortunately, I can no longer make it.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make this either much to my regret!
Ill contact the organisers and ask how late I can leave the decision because it's a lovely bit of Tarmac and a great venue to enjoy a day with other car nuts especially the Tvr boys.

Short notice I know, but do any of you fancy a track day at Donington Park on Monday 10th October?
It's next to the East Midlands Airport, junction 23A of the M1.
Noise limit 98dBA drive by - note "drive by". Bedford is 87.5 drive by, so we should have no issues.

Donington usually charge £200-300.This one is £50.

I am going on it. There are presently 30 spaces left.

I will post the booking procedure as soon as I can - all you will need to do is get it booked in the next two weeks.

Is this through DPRAC membership?

I might be interested as I've done it before (through DPRAC) so would renew membership

That's correct. £15 annual membership (download the form off the website) and £35 for the track day (download the form off the website). Www.dprac.co.uk
Need to get on with it. Two weeks or so to the cut-off date.
It's a sessioned day, purely because 1/3 will be bikes. So 20 minutes on track per hour, 6 or 7 sessions, about 150-200 miles on track. Which is more than I have ever done.

They are 30 short at the moment, so need us. Will be a good day.

I am definitely booked.
