Throttle Cable Adjustment
Discussion
Again, thanks for all the pictures and advise. I'll have a look at the pedal setup and put a stop in (of it hasn't already been done - it was a PHer's so maybe already been done).
Another little project! Still, this is why I bought it. Half to drive and half to tinker... Although I think I'm about to get a Trabant on my drive soon which was going to be my summer time-waster!

Can confirm my S3c also has this arrangement.
Never noticed it myself before now.
I recently adjusted my cable as the pedal was constantly getting stuck on the carpet, it's also pretty close to the end of travel on the adjuster. Are you saying you now have a little more to play with since moving to the original fitting point?
Need to get the peddle stop sorted before Euro tour, so simple!
Also interested in a replacement cable, are they available off the shelf?

Got a pedal stop spare if you want?
I think the cables are hard to find but you could do away with all that linkage crap and have a connection direct to the plate which would give loads of scope to adjust the cable.
I'm making some cable brackets up for Stewart (maybe not in stainless) so I could do another

The outer pivot is further away (not by much admittedly!) from the cable adjuster than the original position. Because you're pulling the cable a bit tighter, you're effectively giving yourself a bit more adjustment. With many thanks to Alan
Never noticed the TVR pedal rubbers before, could do with a clean, not a fan of interior cleaning
Though noted with the S3c arrangement, the cable is under a lot of tension to get the last few mm's of movement to wide open at the throttle body. More than I would have ever given it in the past, another 10bhp on top of the 20bhp at last adjustment
Plan to move my cable to the original nipple ASAP
