Have a V6 Type 9 in the garage but it's destined to go in our M. Hopefully in the next few months.

Would be interested to compare notes on things like gear lever position though...

you have a "proper" bell housing don't you? I'm hoping this will work!


Haven't put much thought into gearlever position yet but the old tailhousing mod might help?

Yes, have the official Ford bellhousing for the job

Not sure the shortened housing will move it forward far enough - that's the bit I need to work out.

Hi all,
current state of play is body being resprayed, chassis shot blasted and nearly ready for painting but needs mod to fit RX8 gearbox.

gearbox extension is 5mm wider than the chassis at this point.
Got to take a short break to cook Christmas dinner, then back to the good stuff.

New mounting points for Sierra RS500 ally rad.

Engine and gearbox assembled.

Dizzy modified for cam position sensor.
And

Trigger wheel fitted for ECU upgrade to Emerald K6.
