This is a bit of a lame question and probably has been covered elsewhere, but here goes
Has anyone discovered a suitable replacement rubber seal or piece of rubber the right thickness that can be cut and then glued (again..recommendations) to replace the horse-shoe shaped seal at the top of the door rear, where the window slides through it, and prevents water p*ssing into the door panel ??
I was told (by an expert...PR Wood) that TVR no longer make them and that they always fall off. So, i presume most of you at some point have had to create new ones by cutting up door mats etc !! Has someone clever like Leebee etc found the ideal solution? My drivers side one has gone and it looks crap with a gaping hole there..not to mention our lovely weather pouring in.
All help for a newbie appreciated,
cheers
Mark.

Fortunatly my seals seem to be OK but looking at them they appear to be either special mouldings or "horseshoe" sections made up by glueing pieces together, not quite sure.
The ribbed pieces of rubber where bonnet etc touches body I have replced with 1/8" rubber gasket that I bought in sheet form a long time ago, this I have Araldited on and its staying put.
I have plenty of 1/8" left and would be happy to post you a square foot or so FOC if you want to have a try.
E-mail me your address if you want it.
Cheers
