..I've ordered my fair share of tat from China (via Ebay) over the years and everything has arrived to be fair ...
I've ordered quite a lot of stuff as well and delivery times vary considerably from days to weeks. It seems some of the Chinese suppliers now keep stock in Europe (Holland seems common and one thing came from Southampton!) and this turns up very quickly. Delivery times on the stuff from mainland China are unpredictable. My most amazing delivery recently was from RS Components. A few quids worth of connectors on free delivery turned up the following morning by Parcelforce 24 hour deliver. Mind you, he arrived at 7.20am which wasn't that great
mine arrived just before christmas, quality looks fine. Swapping it with the old (leaking) one took 5 minutes plus 5 minutes to crimp on a new ring terminal as the original wire had several strands broken.
Ran a new wire from the second terminal and picked up 12V at the ignition switch and positioned a flashing LED on top of the steering column shroud.
When I turn on the ignition the LED flashes until I start the car and 10 psi (or thereabouts); hopefully i'll never see the flashing light whilst the engine is running!
In hindsight I should have 'bled' the transducer first by filling it with oil before screwing it into th eblock as the pressure gauge was a bit sensitive and occasional LED at low rpm with hot oil but seems to be getting better so i'm guessing its just an air bubble or two.
