OK thanks Ian. Think I'll wait for Mike's.
Here you go, proper pedals...... I think my "engine" has a few more cc than yours Ian, but may be not quite so highly tuned
Or is this more use to you Paul.......
It's "new old stock", found it on Ebay (wrongly listed as a Cerbera pedal), unfortunately time has taken its toll on the pedal rubber and it has started to perish/split
Does beg the question, why do you need one?

If you are ok with parting with it let, me know how much and how to get the money to you.
See you at Stew and Karens 50th if you are going.

I was shocked when I saw the contortions the cable goes through when the peddle is pressed. Looking to fabricate something that allows the cable to be Pulled in a straight line.
On mine I found the cable lined up with the top of the pedal OK once the throttle was open, as long as the cable was supported so that it passed through the bulkhead at the right angle. Without that support it tended to sag, leaving the inner to kink at the end of the cable. I also found that the top of the pedal went completely out of alignment with the cable in the 'closed' position when the pedal was adjusted too high up. Then I found that the fixed ferrule attaching the cable inner to the pedal kinked the inner at a sharp point. Opening the end of the ferule up to form a bell mouth so the cable could follow a gradual curve instead of kinking made a huge difference to the durability. These changes plus a throttle stop have basically eliminated the problem of snapped throttle cables (touch wood) and I've gone from replacing the cable every 12-18 months to zero failures.Gassing Station | S Series | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
