Calling philpot.....info on your engine mounts...

Mike , if your about can you tell me if you fitted the mounting cups on the engine mounts, if so which way round did you fit them , base to chassis or base to engine block .
I've just had some new mounts , cups and gearbox mount delivered from Burton , and looking forward to the hours of fun coming when I fit them ........(sump now only 1\4" off ARB).

Hi Paul, right or wrong I fitted mine rubber mount to chassis, drop the cup on "upside down" and engine bracket sits on the cup.


they seem to be holding up okay.

Hi mike , thanks for the reply , that's how I imagined them fitted , I have taken note on the previous thread about not having the engine twisted as the cups could cut the mounts.
Once again mike thanks for the info , can always count on an answer from you especially if the subject involves stainless!!
