As I've mentioned in a couple of places, I'm planning to auction off a shortshifter gearlever for a V6S to add into the charity pot, so we should be able to boost it further smile

Cheers

I would just like to thank everyone for voting for B19 VBS aka Matilda.
It was the first SCH Claire and I have attended and to take home a couple of trophies made it that more special.
Lovely to have met new people and to catch up with familiar faces.

A good amount was raised for a good cause, the sun kept the rain at bay .... all in all a great day. Thanks to Alan & Glen for ensuring we all had a good time.

Pleased to say the gearlever sold for £95, which meant £120 (he was abroad, so paid for postage) into Alison's pot smile

Thanks so much to all who participated and particularly to Richard for the kind donation of his handiwork.

I was with Mrs T as she left Bristol this morning and she has been overwhelmed with the fantastic response from across the TVR community. Knowing how much is being raised directly for her chosen causes is a big motivator for her to keep going and as she's now passed 850 miles with just a couple of weeks to go, the end is beginning to feel in sight.

That's great Richard, thanks for your generosity. thumbup
Your quickshift* auction raised more than it would have done as a prize in our raffle.
It's a pity that the mods pulled the thread, but I guess they have to stick to the PH roolz, otherwise the whole website would be inundated with charity appeals. rolleyes

I'm sure the bidding would have gone higher if the topic hadn't been deleted...

I'm pleased to relay that the total of S Club-related donations to Alison's good causes now stands at £540 with hopefully more to come from the Uxbridge Rotary Club after their next committee meeting to discuss allocation of their charity funds.
( I wonder if they all drive Mazda RX cars??? sonarspin )

* Have you got any pics of your mod kit?
I'm sure a lot of peeps on here would like to see it. smile

I'm almost certain it would. Our Facebook page is still fairly small, and the S group on FB is only 450-strong or so. I say 'only', that's probably a lot more than regular posters on here!

Will get some decent pics of them up soon. I'll have run out at this rate before the end of the month!

Cheers

Glen,

I'm the owner of J106CGO.
Sorry I haven't replied earlier, I've just joined pistonheads having 'lurked' infrequently for a few years now.
I'll enter my details on the owners list when I get a few moments.

Cheers,

Alan

Hi Alan jobbo51, wavey

Welcome to the best forum! thumbup
Email sent, I need your address please, so I can post off your certificate. ( Email me.)

Not had any claimants with the winning raffle tickets, so the unclaimed prizes will be carried over to SCH 2018.

Dear S-Ed,
I'll try to do a cut and paste job of this report for Sprint, but I could do with some decent photos of the day if anybody could email some in the next day or two.
Life is pretty hectic at the moment!
The trouble with retirement is, you never get a day off!
