2017 S Club Eurotour Scotland
Discussion
There is a possibility that my S won't be fixed in time for the tour (won't know until late Friday afternoon).
If that is the case would I be able to sit in with someone - may also need a second lonely driver for my son
We hope to both have SatNavs with the route and will share the fuel costs with the victims.
We will make it to Penrith and are booked in for the night.

Magpies,
I have a spare jump seat. You would be welcome, if you can bear a very untried griff for the weekend.

It's been a bit quiet in here since we got back because everyone has been commenting in the WhatsApp group I set up to make communication easier while we were away. But yes, I think the rest of the group will agree it was good fun. VERY good fun!

Great roads/people/hotels/organisation/fun, even the weather was kind to us most of the time
Michael at the garage has found the problem with my S - the ECU had lost the switched live 12v. Have run a temporary connection and drove the car home (via the monthly TVR meeting) we suspect a cable break or pulled connection behind the dashboard - oh great

Hi Debs!
No, greymrj's eyes were mostly glued to the maps and the sinuous curves of the roads we travelled over duration of the Scotland tour.
He did thank me for delivering him back home alive in one piece, as gradually some colour returned to his knuckles.
Yesterday he did show some appreciation of this old lady that caught his eye:
as well as a certain Mary Rose...
