V8S Clutch problem
Discussion
I can't understand how an oversized cylinder would cause that, unless it was throwing the fingers so far in they were touching the clutch, and if that happened you'd have mashing and grinding and all sorts of unpleasant noises. Plus you got the bits from Racetech, who supply these bits over and over again. They know what they're doing.
The busted arm actually does make sense in a way, as the arm might be strong enough to disengage the clutch but if you keep pushing too far, the pivot point could open up slightly and the clutch release. It'd fail totally pretty quickly though, and I know from experience what happens when those arms fail - you just lose have the pedal travel! Plus, you say it's got a new arm fitted.

Barkychoc - I think I would call it 'partial re-engagement'.. I think what you suggest is probably right, it's a question of why it's happening if, as Racetech say, the slave and master are definitely correct. Shortening the rod on the master would probably solve it, or a larger bore slave (which I gather is available from an early Griff). I expect I'll get there eventually. Thanks all!
