I have Bosch fuel pump with a banjo fitting but I need the push-on fitting for the V8S. Does anyone have a pump with a push-on fitting and want to swap the fittings with me?

The number on the pump is 580 254 910.

Is that an original pump? As far as I remember, my original had a plastic end cap with an integral spigot and not an interchangeable fitting like that. I do still have the original pump if you're having an emergency.

PS it had spade fittings too.

Can you not take that fitting out and replace with a hose barb?

No, it's a spare I picked up as a back-up. I haven't changed the one that'son the car at the moment but it does have the same connections as this one so I think it has had a replacement in the past.

Possibly. Worth a try.

I expect you'll have somebody local, but in case you don't - Docking Engineering in Towcester (the radiator people) are an Earls stockist. It's been a few years since I was in but they used to have a pretty comprehensive stock.

does look like the end fitting is removable as there is a copper washer behind it

The outlet is m12x1.5 You should be able to get a hose barb to go in there, there's a non return valve in the banjo fitting that's on there though so you might want to fit one in the fuel line if you change it.

Probably a bit late now, but you could get something like this, which is what my S has.

Thanks to the tip but I've gone with Phillpot's suggestion as this saves changing the hose fitting.
