trolley jacks, bottle jacks and blocks of wood........ anything I had that looked useful!

As well as my faithful old Bradbury jack I have picked up a few of those cheap little trolley jacks over the years and plenty of axle stands (car boot sales wink ).............

this is my Taimar, but same idea

Except for my brainless action of throwing the old drive shafts away we did some real progress today.

My father working on the gearbox mount

Looking good

And it´s out!

There are some hub carriers in Stockholm if you fancy doing a rear disc conversion - to suit 253mm discs.

It is just the bearing carriers - so you'll need to source the stub axles and callipers to suit either vented or solid disks. Plus a handbrake cable - Caterham cars have them 'Dion Handbrake' iirc for a lot less than TVR specialists.

Are you on Facebook Messenger? I can connect you with the owner who may have a few bits of interest.

Back at it again a week of work. My back is not that keen on this thou frown

The manifolds needed new gaskets and of course the bolt gave us problems

All bolts but one did come out, last one snapped. 8-9 drills later my father where able to make new thread in.

And Ian darn you for being right about "Its always some part that need to be replaced". Manifolds need to be replaced frown
