Its a scam i'm afraid. I owned this V8S in 2009, funny thing is £4.400 is what i got for it in 2010. It is what it is.... a Cat C listing . It looks like someone had some affection for it and then through some cash at it. The ' Salvador dali ' inspired engine bay was the work of the original restorer. You would never be able to match the paint work up as it has a very strange Metal flake finish. Having said that , someone has tried with the rear wings and failed. It had Micro blisters all over the top of the wings when i sold it.. Best to move on.

Hi all

Thank you all for your comments and info, as I said earlier I was 99.9% certain its a scam, because even with the problems the car has it worth a good £9 to 10k.

I am now having fun by leading the scammers on, to see how long it takes them to realise that I know its a scam and they are now being taken for a ride.

Well when did you sell it and to whom and more importantly what was its condition?

I think the scammers have realised that I know its a scam as they have not replied to my last e-mail which quoted the advert for the car in Lancashire
