I always prefer a part from local merchants- but where did this part come from?

I couldn’t get the new alternator parts list to work on my phone and the pdf link has died...

This little chap from Maplins used to be a popular replacement ..... 2 wire door lock motor.

But that link is from an old post

Putting that part number or description into Maplins site now doesn't seem to work? Could it be obsolete ?

Richard will be along shortly with some thing from "Car Builder Solutions" wink

If you're changing this then now would be a good time to fit an emergency release cable which you can access from inside the car.

Hi guys this might help.
We used to use the Maplins locks as part of the interlock mechanisms on machines we build at work. However they weren’t very robust so we now fit a much better Swiss made MES unit, available in the UK from a company called Wolf Electronics (see Link).
I believe that the standard 2 wire motor part number W102 is the one to order.
