Window winders

Could do with replacing these on my S1.5. Anyone know where I can get replacements? Tried usual suspects..............come on what they off? Ford Sierra, KA, 1960,s landrover? Lol

Looks like the mechanism is VW Audi ...



Or, to be more specific Audi 80

are you talking about the entire window moving system or just the manual winders themselves?

Just the handles! The teeth that meet the connection in the door panels are worn meaning it just spins and doesn't actually move the glass.

There are plenty on that ebay list Phillpot provided. If you want an original give me today and I will see if I kept any decent ones. I went over to chrome ones. Before buying anything like that new off ebay I suggest you have a look at Car Builder Solutions, they stock them and have been very helpful to TVR owners. If you do buy off them please mention that you got the contact through the TVR guys on PH. Whatever you do, get their free catalogue, amazing what is available now.

Golf Mk 1 fit perfectly and I suspect where they were originally sourced. You just have to be a bit careful as some of the 'reproductions' are a bit poor quality.
Scan the VW specialist spare sites.

The mech is Audi 80 but I would like to see it against the golf as I have a feeling they will be very similar.

Thanks for the info. Checked the link and none of these seem the same. Would really like to keep original if possible. Will check out VW parts sites and see whether they match.
