Passenger door has dropped pretty badly so it now needs lifting to close.

I’ve taken the door card off and looking at other drawings I seem to have something a little different??

My window runner is fixed to my outermost bolt of the lower door hinge but this appears to be some sort of bolt with nylock nut... everything fixed below the nylock nut is loose.

From what I understand there’s usually 1 main bolt with the bush. Two bolts fixing to the door.

Are they all like this?

Cheers,
Tom

What drawings are you looking at?

the stud with the nut on (there should be another nut beneath the alloy window frame) and another M8 bolt secure this bracket to the door. The holes for these two are much bigger than the bolts to give some adjustment

The bigger bolt (hinge pin) goes through the nylon bush in the middle of the bracket and screws into the bodytub.

Same top and bottom.

You should have something like this, the two outside bolts are for adjustment you will have the same at the top .

That’s what I was expecting, it looks like someone’s hijacked the door adjustment for a brace for a window guide. Do you not have the ally window frame shown in my picture?

I must say, the windows work very well but the door occasionally swings open if not shut properly... making the excellent window functionality somewhat irrelevant

The window frame should bolt on the back of the body you have to take it off before you can get to the top hinge, cant see how it can fit on the hinge bolts .

No,perhaps I didn't explain it too well in my previous reply but that's how the factory did it.

I can only presume Barry's picture is an S1 with wind up windows, they are a different set up I believe.
