Hi All.

I am after a Speedo sensor, oil sump pan and gasket.

Been searching online without much joy, went to Ford who don't stock any of these items anymore.

Is anyone breaking an s2 or have any of these laying around? Or know where they can be purchased from?

Many thanks in advance.

Sump gasket no problem, any decent Motor Factor or Ebay

Sump you'll probably have to settle for second hand, keep an eye on Ebay.

Speedo Sensor could be tricky, can't help with that one.

What's up with your sump? Could it be welded/repaired?

Thinking about it I should have my old one here somewhere (fitted alloy one from a Cosworth Granada/Scorpio), might have a few dents and scrapes but not leaking

Hi Maffe, wow only £84 for a brand new one! Obviously without including the postage costs. Thanks very much for finding that.

I'm just currently waiting on Mike who may have his old sump pan that I'd be interested in.

Thanks again for taking your time to look

The brand new would not fit, it’s for a 2,0 litre. But there are secondhand once for the 2.9

The electronic speed sensors for the gearbox do come up on ebay from time to time. I bought one about 18months ago. It fitted fine but unfortunately it produced twice as many pulses as the original so when the car was doing 40 the speedo read 80 smile (Great for 0-60 times, rubbish for fuel economy). So clearly they are not all the same. As it was about 40 quid I kept it fitted and made up a divide by two electronic circuit that I creatively shoved in the spaghetti wiring behind the dash!
