Side repeaters too red

The standard ones are off a MkIV Escort, available on Ebay for a fiver used, to £30 new and £12 from Albania (honest). They are just a rubbish push-and-twist-fit into the standard size hole, yours looks to have been enlargified. The only way I have been able to stop mine from falling out if brushed by some careless passer-by (usually me in the garage), is to use a narrow strip of very fine wet-and dry paper doubled back on itself ad Evo-stuck together, which when wrapped around the body of the bulb holder provides an adequate friction fit.

totally agree with Phillpot. There are loads of those oval Ford type indicators around and they suite the S. Those crap connectors on yours want replacing anyway then use sikaflex or similar to bond the new ones in and cover that mess! Easy job!!

Yup - thanks everyone - especially Mike and Frank for shaming me into action.
Now that I can see that the cable is long enough all I have to do is figure out which mating connector to use.
The new repeaters are big enough to cover the old screw holes and just need a bit of ingenuity to fix them so they don’t pop out at the first speed bump.

CT1? Excellent stuff. On the recommendation of an old Landie geezer I met in Partco, I used it to seal the gauge sender in my petrol tank. So far, so good!
